  •  (NO SPECIFIC DATE):    At some time during this year the Senate of the United States of America, meeting in Washington, D.C., finally ratifies the "Transconinental Treaty" between the United States of America and Spain. This treaty defines the western borders of the United States of America under the Louisiana Purchase.
